The beach is situated a little south of Hasle in the western part of Bornholm.
It is several kilometres long, with nice sand and good bathing conditions.
There are parking spaces in the pleasant forest next to the beach, both at the northern end of Klympen beach and at the southern end in Glasværksvej. There are also toilets in Glasværksvej.
There is a sign in front of the beach entrance that warns of high waves that may pose a danger to small children bathing in the water.
If you head south, you will reach Kultippen, a heap of sand, gravel, coal dust and clay brought here from the surrounding coal mine.
