These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of activities and sports equipment offered via the platform visitbornholm.com and operated by Visit Bornholm ApS, CVR 46221699, Brogårdsvej 41, 3700 Rønne, Denmark (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).
Scope of Services
The Company acts as an intermediary facilitating the rental of sports equipment and the booking of activities offered by third-party rental providers. The Company is not the owner of the equipment and does not directly provide the activities.
Bookings and Payments
a. Payments for rentals and activities are made via online payment providers
made available on the platform (e.g. PayPal).
b. Payment service providers process transactions in accordance with their own
terms and privacy policies.
c. The Company settles payments with rental providers in accordance with
individual agreements.
Use of Equipment and Participation in Activities
a. The renter is responsible for ensuring that rented equipment
is suitable and safe for use before the rental period begins.
b. Participation in activities and use of equipment is at the renter’s own risk.
Liability
a. The Company shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries,
damages, or losses arising from the use of rented equipment
or participation in activities.
b. Liability for the condition of the equipment rests solely with
the respective rental provider.
c. Any claims related to equipment damage or malfunction
must be addressed directly to the rental provider.
Rental Period and Responsibility
a. The renter assumes full responsibility for the equipment
from the moment of collection until it is returned to the provider.
b. Equipment must be used in accordance with its intended purpose
and provider instructions.
Return of Equipment
a. Equipment must be returned on time and in the same condition
as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
b. The renter may be charged for repair or replacement
in the event of damage, loss, or late return.
Cancellations and Refunds
a. Cancellation of rentals or activities must be made in advance
in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.

Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on visitbornholm.com shall always be the binding version.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing a rental or booking an activity via the platform, the renter confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
