In this year's special exhibition, Bornholms Museum focuses on the Soviet soldiers on Bornholm in the time after World War II. There is also a scenographic / musical exhibition about the dramatic bombings of Nexø and Rønne on 7 and 8 May 1945. It is an exhibition that hits all the senses.
The exhibition offers a rich selection of contemporary photographs of the Soviet soldiers on Bornholm. They were happy to come to a place where there were good photographers and most wanted to have a good portrait taken for the family back home. At the same time, the local photographers were fascinated by the alien soldiers. Many exciting and good pictures came out of it.
