MA TEO is a pop-up pizza concept that focuses on the AVPN-certified craft of Neapolitan pizza. It's all in collaboration with Bornholm businesses such as Svaneke Brød, Aarsdale Silderøgeri and Spar Aakirkeby. With its own dough that rises for a minimum of 48 hours, stone ovens heated to over 400 degrees over an open fire, and a combination of authentic Italian delicacies with locally grown Bornholm ingredients, it creates a framework for the taste of the beautiful soul of Naples.
Behind the business are partners Tonja and Daniel, originally from Jutland. Both are in their twenties and share a passion for Neapolitan pizza. Both are convinced that their aim is not to revolutionize the world of pizza.
On the contrary. They simply want to take a step back and develop a pizza according to the original Neapolitan way of thinking.
They also hold regular pizza events at Aarsdale Silk Bakery.
